Acne Laser Treatment

The Acne Laser Treatment addresses acne through selective photothermolysis. It uses a 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength that penetrates deeply into the skin without damaging the surface.

This wavelength helps in two key ways:

  • Reducing Inflammation: the laser energy gently heats the deeper layers of the skin, reducing inflammatory responses, calming redness, and soothing irritated lesions.

  • Targeting Acne-Causing Bacteria & Oil Activity: the 1064 nm wavelength penetrates into the sebaceous glands, helping regulate overactive oil production. This wavelength also creates an environment that reduces C. acnes bacteria, which contributes to breakouts.

This dual-action approach helps reduce active lesions, prevents scarring, and promotes quicker healing.

A Little Science

Acne requires consistency to improve. Most clients need a series of 4–6 sessions, spaced 1–2 weeks apart, to see meaningful and sustained results. Active breakouts often begin to calm within the first few treatments as inflammation decreases and bacteria levels reduce.

Because acne is influenced by underlying issues, such as hormones, bacteria, oil production, and lifestyle, ongoing care is often necessary. If the underlying cause of acne is not fully addressed, we recommend maintenance treatments every 4–8 weeks. This depends on severity, skin type, and response to treatment.

We will customize your plan based on whether your acne is inflammatory, hormonal, cystic, or congestion-based. You can book a single session or choose a package of 3 or 6. Not sure what you need? We’ll walk you through our recommendations during your consultation.

What Can We Treat?

This treatment is called a facial, but it is also effective for:

  • Face

  • Jawline & chin

  • Neck

The acne treatment is safe for all skin tones since it uses a 1064 nm wavelength.

  • Chest

  • Back

  • Shoulders

Results

  • Reduced redness and inflammation

  • Smaller, less clogged pores

  • Fewer active breakouts

  • Calmer, more even skin tone

  • Gradual reduction in oiliness

  • Faster healing of existing lesions

Results build progressively over your treatment series. This is not a one-time “cure,” but a clinical tool to significantly manage breakouts and reduce flare-ups. Laser can only do so much if the underlying issue isn’t addressed, so ongoing appointments may be necessary.
